GENERAL CONDITIONS

Article 1 - Purpose

This contract concerns the rental of the chosen apartment and the following included services: end of stay cleaning (see conditions), sheets and towels provided.

 

Article 2 - Duration of stay

The tenant signing this contract concludes a reservation for a fixed period and may not under any circumstances claim any right to remain on the premises at the end of the stay.

 

Article 3 - Conclusion of the contract

The reservation becomes effective once the payment is confirmed. By accepting the terms and conditions of reservations, the tenant acknowledges having read the general conditions and agrees to respect the rental regulations.

 

Article 4 - Cancellation by the tenant

Any cancellation must be notified to the owner as soon as possible.

 

a) cancellation before arrival at the premises:

More than 30 days before the date of entry into the premises: the deposit remains acquired by the owner. In the event of a cancellation less than 30 days before arrival in the premises, the full payment of the rental will remain acquired by the owner. No refund will be possible.

b) if the stay is shortened, the rental price remains acquired by the owner. No refund will be made.

 

Article 5 - Cancellation by the owner

The owner returns to the tenant the full amount paid in advance.

 

Article 6 - Arrival

The tenant must arrive on the day specified in the time slot mentioned in this contract. In the event of late or delayed arrival, the tenant must notify the owner.

 

Article 7 - Payment of the balance

In order to finalize the reservation, the balance of the rental must be paid 30 days before entering the premises, otherwise the contract will be terminated. The deposit remains acquired by the owner.

 

Article 8 - Security deposit

A security deposit, the amount of which is indicated at the time of booking, is requested by the owner. This deposit is not collected by the owner. This deposit is returned, less the cost of restoring the premises if damage is found.

 

Article 9 - Use of the premises

The tenant must ensure the peaceful nature of the rental and use it in accordance with the intended purpose of the premises. In the event of abnormal use of the premises, or exceptional dirtiness, the amount of the cleaning costs or water and electricity charges will be re-invoiced to the tenant.

 

Article 10 - Capacity

This contract is established for a maximum capacity of people. Any additional person is prohibited.

 

Article 11 - Tourist tax

The tourist tax is payable to the commune of Champagny-En-Vanoise by any person staying there. It is used to improve and finance tourist facilities. Those under 18 are exempt. The amount is set according to the classification of the furnished accommodation and calculated per person and per night. It is payable to each of the hosts in addition to the rental price.

 

Article 12 - Insurance

The tenant is responsible for all damages caused by him. He is required to be insured.

 

Article 13 - Announcements

The photos in the advert or on the website are not contractual, minor modifications to equipment or decorations may be made.

 

Article 14 - Disputes

Any claim relating to the rental will be dealt with by the competent Court.

Rules of our accommodations

1. PARTIES/NOISE : Calm and respect for the neighborhood required. Organization of parties/events is prohibited. 

2. SMOKING FORBIDDEN : No smoking in the apartment. 

3. PETS : prohibited in the accommodation except with the exceptional written agreement of the host. 

4. SKI EQUIPMENT : prohibited in the accommodation. Guest are required to store them in the ski locker.

6. INTERNET : It is strictly forbidden to see illegal sites and download illegal content.

 

7. CHECK-IN : A complete inventory of housing is available in the apartment. 

We recommend that you read it upon your arrival and report any lack, problem, damage, or need for repair no later than 24 hours after arrival. 

8. CHECK-OUT : Before 10 a.m. Dishes and household appliances must be put away and left clean.

The refrigerator and dishwasher must be emptied. 

Trash cans (kitchen/bathroom) must be thrown into public containers.

The apartment must be tidy and emptied of all the tenant's belongings and waste. 

Dumping trash in public areas or in the residence is prohibited.

In the event of non-compliance with these rules, the tenants will be charged the additional cleaning fee. 

9. BREAKAGE AND DAMAGE : Any incident, loss or breakage affecting the home, furniture or equipment must be reported immediately. 

The amount of the deposit may be reduced by the cost of repair or replacement. It is forbidden to move the furniture. No reimbursement for troubleshooting or repairs can be taken into account without the agreement of the host. 

 

10. SECURITY

- The windows and doors must be locked after each departure in order to preserve the security of the premises and to prevent any damage caused by rain/snow. 

- Lights and electronic devices should be turned off when not in use. Vacationers are solely responsible for the use of the equipment and household appliances made available to them. 

- Never leave children unattended; Guests are fully responsible for the safety of their children at all times. 

 

For the Résidence les Balcons Etoilés apartments (Marguerite A6 - Leontine A8 - Gabrielle A15 - Josephine A20) :

- Never cover the electric heating: risk of fire! ​

For the apartment Gustave B31- Terrasse de la Vanoise :

- SAUNA: The tenant undertakes to read the instructions provided upon arrival before using the sauna and to respect the safety instructions displayed.

- PARKING: Parking in the underground car park (-1), in 4 private spaces: n°30 - 31 - 33 - 34. The spaces in front of the residence reception are reserved for minute parking.

Failure to comply with theses rules may result in the cancellation of the Rental Agreement immediately, the loss of costs payed as well as deductions from the security deposit.
